Here are the types of COVID-19 testing for businesses we offer:
Standard PCR (Nasal Swab) Test
This test involves a nasal swab sample and checks individuals for existing COVID-19 infections. Per the CDC, COVID-19 testing is one of the best ways to detect and slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. We can perform standard COVID-19 testing at any of our 5 urgent care locations, or on-site.
Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test
This test involves a nasal swab sample and checks individuals for existing COVID-19 infections. The rapid COVID test by Quidel — called the Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA — is what is known as an “antigen” test. The Quidel test can produce results in as little as 15-20 minutes.
COVID-19 Antibody (Blood Draw) Testing
This test involves a blood drawn sample and is meant to detect specific antibodies in the blood that are prevalent in those who have had COVID-19 and since recovered. Once someone has contracted COVID-19 and recovered from it, they may have some immunity to the virus, according to the CDC.
